Icetimer is an installation, which measures the time according to the space activity. It is based on a device which looks pretty much like a sand timer but instead of sand measures the time with drops. This object was positioned in the open-air center made out of snow for minus20degree 2016 festival. The liquid of the timer was only melting and dropping when a hairdryer was heating it but this was taking place only when a sensor was detecting motion activity next to it. If the human activity was stopping the timer was freezing again. Anyway space and temperature are two of the most important factors, which control the time perception.
